Our committees are open to all active chamber members. The best way to forge business relationships is by working closely with others in your community at meetings and events. You will have the opportunity to interact with business owners, government officials and community leaders.
Tourism
The Hallandale Beach Area Chamber of commerce Travel and Tourism Committee serves the broader interests of the community in building sustainability measures by supporting, maintaining, and expanding the domestic and international travel market to our area. It is our mission to ensure visitors have an unparalleled experience of hospitality through the city’s dining, shopping, entertainment, and sporting life.
Going Green
Our GLO (Green Leadership Organization) is the “eco” conscious arm of the Chamber. We respond to today’s challenges to make our planet a healthy and green place to live. From light bulb exchanges, to environmentally friendly ways to use natural resources, to education about new discoveries that befriend Earth, we cover it all. Our annual open event features guest speakers, free tree give away, new product information and updated environmental news. This community wide event is a well attended feature of the Hallandale Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
GLO, the Green Leadership Organization team and the City of Hallandale Beach regularly report on new ways in which your company can become LEED certified and recognized in the community as a “green company”. We also dispense new information for upgrading your business to green. We are consciously considered an informative Chamber, and spend several months in planning our annual GLO event. We invite you to become part of this movement. Our aim is to help make Hallandale Beach a sustainable City and follow the guidelines for a healthier, greener way of life.
